“We chose Film Infinity because from what we saw of their work we really knew that they’d do a great job of working with us. They really tried to match the finished product to our vision so we were excited to get involved with working with them.
The pre-production communication with Film Infinity was really useful. We got a very detailed guidence document that was also really helpful for us in terms of planning the days that they were with us and making sure that we featured the right things, that we were properly prepared so we could really make good use of the actual filming time.
The pre-production communication was really helpful in making sure that the filming itself went a smoothly as possible. The team were really good at working with young people, they understood how to get the best out of them. They made everybody feel really comfortable about being filmed which meant the final product was even better than what we could have hoped for.
When we saw the final finished product it made me feel quite emotional which is exactly what you want. It made me feel really proud of my school and I kind of got wrapped up in the emotion of watching it all on the screen which is exactly what you want from from a really good promotional video.
In terms of the post-production process what was really impressive for me was how quickly Film Infinity turned the product around, and also how close they got on the first edit to what we were looking for, so there was only a little bit of tweaking and I was really grateful for the flexibility that the team showed in helping us achieve that final vision, so it was a really quick process and pretty painless as well.
Overall in terms of my impression of the whole process of working with Film Infinity I couldn’t really be happier, it was very smooth, it was very professional and we really felt part of it as well we felt listened to and supported so I think the communication was the thing that was key for me, it really made all the difference in helping us achieve a video that I think really reflects what Sir John Lawes is all about”
